David Reeve

We are showing the excellent David Reeve's work for the third year at Six The Green in 2019.

He has recently worked with collage, photographic images and works on canvas which are all concerned with the layered or juxtaposed image.

David in his own words;

"As I enjoy finding art in strange places this can sometimes be abstracted details of found objects with colour combinations which interest me. This allows getting away from my usual figurative style but still expresses my concern with composition, structure and colour."

The expressive textures, erosion, weathering, and colour found on Hastings Fishermen's Beach or at Dungeness and the surrounding landscape, all inform and continues to be the inspiration for my work.
